WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AT OAK LAKE?

Guests come here to unwind and relax, but primarily to fish. Our staff is focused on making sure that they have an unforgettable time.

Our guests choose to come to Oak Lake for their vacation. Most return year after year and learn the ropes just as well as our staff. Guests are gracious and kind to our team members because they are exactly where they want to be — fishing in the peaceful outdoors.

As a member of the Oak Lake team, you’ll spend your days preparing for new guests and taking care of our current ones.

HERE’S WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE FOR OUR TEAM:

  • You’re up early preparing boats for the day’s fishing tours, cooking meals, or tending to general maintenance around the lake
  • Your responsibilities are clearly defined, so you always know what to expect and how to succeed
  • Your meals are all provided for you, and you get plenty of downtime each evening to unwind
  • Your work is fun and engaging, but your days are scheduled so you have routine and consistency
  • You make great tips serving guests who can’t wait to come back next season

We work and live together as a team for four months every year. Like our guests, most of our staff returns year after year — getting to know each other well and working together as a team.

  • Can handle living with your coworkers for four months
