How do I get to Oak Lake Lodge?
Fly to International Falls and take a van service to Vermilion Bay, ON, to catch the float plane to Oak Lake Lodge. Also, Vermilion Bay has a hard surface runway if you are flying to Canada on a private plane. Of course, John Naimian will provide you with detailed information during the booking of your trip.

Driving Instructions from International Falls
1. Take Hwy 11 West to reach Hwy 71 North, continuing to Hwy 17 East to get to Vermilion Bay, and then take Hwy 647 North (approximately a ½ mile to reach Wilderness air from the Highway). There is a sign on the road "Wilderness Air"
Or:
2. Take Hwy 11 East to reach Hwy 502 North, continue to Dryden, continuing on Hwy 17 West to Vermilion Bay, and then take Hwy 647 North (approximately ½ mile to reach Wilderness air from the Highway). There is a "Wilderness Air" sign on the road.
Flying Information
For those of you flying in commercially, a van service is available 24 hours a day to Vermilion Bay. Contact us for rates. If you are flying in by private aircraft, Vermilion Bay has a 3800 ft hard surface runway (frequency is 130.7).
